It was wild weather here last night. So many are without power, and trees are down all over the place. Floods galore…I am so thankful we have power, across the way is out.. I hope everyone is restored soon!
Perfect weather for a cup of tea, a Shamrock Brownie, and since the weather was so bad, a little scoop of ice cream..:)
The plate is Fitzgerald by Noritake..a deep green marble border with thick gold trim..
I sure miss the Noritake Outlet that I used to frequent! I wonder if they miss me? :)
I am joining Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday…
I am also joining Tabletop Tues at Marty’s
A Stroll Thru Life and I am so happy to join Katherine for the first time for tea at Lady Katherine’s Tea Parlor..and Wanda at The Plumed Pen for Tea for Two and Rhondi at Rose Colored Glasses …so many teas, Tuesday is Tea day for sure!
Please visit these lovely ladies to see some beautiful blogs!
And for the last time, :) I want to invite you to join the party here on the 16th…Mr. Linky will be on duty to accept your link…

Wow, it is all lovely! Happy St Pat's Day!
ReplyDeleteWow those dishes pack a punch. How elegant. It would be a shame to put food on them and make them dirty.
ReplyDeletewhat a gorgeous table...love it...
ReplyDeleteYour rabbit in his Irish gear is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteI can hardly believe St Patrick's Day is already upon us! Whatever happened to January & February? ::Jill
ReplyDeleteThe shamrock brownie makes me drool....I'd love to drop in for a spot of tea!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathleen,
ReplyDeleteIs there no end to the beautiful St. Patty's day decor that you have! I love the table, the dishes and the brownie! How do you get so much baking done? Oh and is your link going up on the 15th or 16th. I always get confused since these things tend to run a day early.
Cindy
Kathleen, what a darling teapot. ... I love your Noritake Fitzgerald plates, very elegant. I'm sure Noritake misses you, but I doubt that they made much money on you, Mrs. Bargain Queen!
ReplyDeleteOh, your plates and tea set are lovely! Your brownie looks delicious and I love your Irish blessing.
ReplyDeleteAn Easter bunny with shamrocks and a green hat - that's what I call multi-tasking! Well done!
ReplyDeleteAmanda
The little bunny is ready to dance a jig! I'd love to come to your tea party. I am sure a shamrock brownie will bring me luck. Luck of the Irish to You! Joan
ReplyDeleteThat was quite the storm, wasn't it? We got some water in the basement, but luckily didn't lose power.
ReplyDeleteLove your Noritake -- sooo beautiful. Looks like you are ready for the holiday! Thanks so much for sharing at MM. :)
What a perfect tea time treat, and what a great mosaic your tablescape makes.
ReplyDeleteSee you on the crawl tomorrow!
~Maggie~
You have some gorgeous Irish goodies. I have nothing Irish here but I can't wait to visit everyone to see how they decorate for St Pat's day.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Natasha.
I was wondering if you lost power when I saw this morning's news...yucky storms! I'm glad all is well at your house, as least.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful tea post. I ♥ your Noritake Fitzgerald plates & the brownie looks yummy, too.
I bet your St. Pat's party is going to overwhelm Mr. Linky this week!! Everyone is talking about joining in. :D Its going to be lots of fun to see all the GREEN decorations. Mine is almost ready to go...just a few finishing touches.
fondly,
Rett
Very pretty plates...very Irish!
ReplyDeleteKathleen,
ReplyDeleteMy kids are still raving about the cabbage onion bacon, and the soda bread I made yesterday following your recipes. The soda bread was moist and absolutely delish!! It was the first time I've tried something different than our traditional St. Paddy's meal and it made all the difference...just wanted to thank you for posted these recipes here. Love the table settings. And do hope the sun is shining for you this morning, and the spring rains have settled a bit.
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you, xoxo
I'm not going to the usual St. Patrick's Day bash, because the hostess is down following surgery. I must make my soda bread and take it to her on Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful, Kathleen! Looking forward to your blog crawl!
ReplyDeleteBlessings - Beth
I love these dishes Kathleen! They are very elegant. I like the shamrock shaped cake :-) Gald the storm did not effect you too much. My daughter lost a big pine tree thta was in front of her co-op apartment.
ReplyDeleteI'm still away -- coming home tomorrow on the red eye, but I put my St. Pat's post up and hope to be able to link it tonight or tomorrow morning.
Beautiful table, Kathleen!
ReplyDeleteHope your power stays on. We've seen some of the views over by your neck o' the woods.
Our county has flash flood warnings, for today. Not sure where. We noticed the Missouri River is up, from melting snows, up north...I'm sure the Mississippi looks the same. We've not seen it lately.
Everything ready for St. Patrick' Day. Cool. Valerie
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, K.
ReplyDeleteLove it all...
Hi Kathleen...
ReplyDeleteOhhh no...I'm so sorry to hear that you are having stormy weather, my friend! Thank the Lord that you still have your electricity! Sending good thoughts and prayers your way!
Well dear lady, you have certainly set a lovely Irish tea! I just adore that pretty teapot with the celtic design on it...gorgeous! Ohh...and that pretty teacup with the shamrock border...very pretty! Mmmm...a shamrock brownie with ice cream...it just doesn't get any better than that, my friend! Loved seeing more of your pretty St. Patty's Day decor! Thank you for the tea and sharing all of your pretties with us!
I was so hoping to join in with your party tomorrow but I have failed to decorate for St. Pat's Day! I know...bad girl! I did use alot of green in my new Spring dining room decor...not sure if that really counts or not? Hehe! Anyway, I know the party will be loads of fun and I hope to visit all the participants! It's so sweet of you to host the party for everyone to enjoy!!!
Warmest wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design
