Happy July 4th everyone! Hope you are celebrating our wonderful country!
I put the link up early , I don't trust it to auto publish, and I will be busy later.
I planned to have a non holiday table, but time got tight, so r w and blue it is! I know the holiday is over by the time you read it!
Dark blue topper over a long white cloth.
Round rug mats and star napkins from Kohls, red square plate 1.00, Pfaltzgraff, blue star plates from their clearance store, years ago.
Blue and white flatware, PB OUTLET, 3.97 , service for 4. Why didn't I buy more?
I have it in yellow, green and blue.
The stars I used as napkin holders are from there too.TIP. Keep your eyes open for things a napkin go through, a little doodad meant to be something else! :)
Red stems, blue goblets, little red bowls, patriotic crackers and red candle holders, all from CTS.
Happy 4th everyone, God bless those who keep us free, and God Bless America!

ReplyDeleteRWB tables always have such a marvelous flair to them. Betsy Ross must have really had some special insight all those years ago. Thanks for opening the link early. We're entertaining at my table this evening, and your timing makes it ever so nice. I hope that your weather is actually nice enough to dine al fresco on your wonderful table. Happy Independence Day! ReplyDeleteWonderful table! Great idea on the cookie cutters for napkin rings. Your centerpiece is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLove your red, white and blue table K! Great centerpiece, the roses are beautiful! Gotta chuckle, I'm looking at your sidebar that says it's 78 degrees up there right now... I'm not buying it! It's 97 here. I came home from work on Monday and mine said it was 30 degrees and snowing! Could barely read it through the sweat pouring off my forehead! Happy 4th of July-have fun:@)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as always Kathleen, the blue and white flatware my fav. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHappy Independence Day!
Hugs,
Sue

ReplyDeleteYour table is wonderful in all it's patriotic colors, and I love all the bright colors on you linky page... so stunning. I will try to visit as many as I can over the next week or so.

Kathleen, I never tire of a patriotic table. This one is full of fun details. Love the braided mats, the star plates, and the patriotic crackers. This table is FUN! Hope your Independence Day was filled with delights. Ours has been busy which is why I'm late getting around to making a comment. Thanks for hosting. ~ sarah
ReplyDeleteI never, ever get tired of the red, white, and blue either! I love a patriotic table. I actually did one for our family dinner before the 4th. (Daughter was home but wanted to go back to DC for the 4th. Can't say I blame her) I just made a mess actually eating on it before any really good pictures. Somehow crumbs, crumbled napkins, and dirty glasses didn't feel too blog worthy.
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm just going to have to be a window watcher again this week. Hoping the wonderful tables in blog land jump start the old enthusiasm!
Happy Independence Day from my house to yours!
Hi, Kathleen. I, and others, I see, are happy that you posted one more R,W & B table--and that others did too. It's the 5th, I know, and I'm still enjoying the look and the ideas for next year. I posted mine with you last week, so no post today, but thanks for hosting what turned out to be a 4th of July party! ~Zuni
ReplyDeleteWow...I should have checked to see if you linked up early. I went to bed SO early last night. I hate the noise of fireworks, so I took an Ambien and hit the hay! You did a great table, though, and I just love, love, love that flatware!!! Great idea on the napkin rings, too! I'll have to remember that! I hope you had a safe and happy 4th!
ReplyDeleteKathleen I was late getting my r,w & b post up also. I had a great 4th and hope you did also. Your table is so cute! I love the napkin rings also and will keep that in mind. I don't have as much 4th of July table decor as I would like, so maybe I'll be on the lookout for clearance items this year! Oh and I'm in for the 'destination' party!! Hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous table, Kathleen! Not just patriotic, but really pretty, too! LOVE the placemats and basket, and the red stemware adds just the right touch of elegance. Good tip on the napkin rings! Hope your 4th was a fun and safe one!
ReplyDeleteYour tables are always beautiful, so thanks for another great one. What a bargain on the flatware. I know what you mean about buyers regret (opposite of usual meaning). But how much tablescape stuff can one home handle? Thanks for inspiring. Happy Summer. ~CJ
ReplyDeleteHi Kathleen! I hope you and your family had a wonderful 4th of July. Your tablescape is so fun and cheerful. Love the flatware. Thank you for hosting and have a great day!
ReplyDeleteWOW~Your red, white & blue is just the BEST! I love your setting. Thanks for hosting Kathleen. I'm little late, but joining in. Pam
ReplyDeleteHappy Fourth of July holiday, Kathleen. Your table looks so fun and festive. I love how you used the napkin holders. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a Happy 4th, Kathleen.
ReplyDeleteCelebrating a blog friends' book release... so, no RWB table scape. Hope that's okay.
Your deck / patio is such a beautiful setting for your festive table.
I sure miss "green." ~trees, grass, shrubs... sigh...
Red white and blue is always a festive summer color combination, Kathleen! I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July! It was so hot here westayed in and wathced the Macy's fireworks on TV.
ReplyDeleteYou are expert at finding the bargains. The same doesn't seem to be true for me. Yesterday I found lovely old placemats and napkins made of linen and with lovely hand done embroidery, but they were pricey and I couldn't bring myself to spend the money. I'm still thinking about them though. I'm crazy about your placemats and the star shaped plates. BTW, your newest gran is adorable.
ReplyDeleteKathleen, what a great celebration!! You have put together an adorable table. You can bet I am going to use your cookie cutter idea for the napkins ring at some point!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathleen, Back to say Thank you for sharing at TTF and have a great day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun tablescape!! You always create the most stunning displays! I hope you had a wonderful celebration last week. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a terrific day! :-)
