Broomsticks and Doorways

Ready for Fall visitors.. I even removed the paint color samples I had taped to the door.  Anyone who came was asked their opinion..even the UPS man!

I hope the next time you see it will be…RED…

 

For Halloween, she’ll be perched on her broom there..

So what did they like , these witches so cute?

I know they adored the fried eyes of newt!



You know I wasn't going to get those plates, but The Tablescaper asked me to get 2 for her, so I broke down and went back for 4 for me!!
I am sure she will do something fabulous with hers!

Your neighbors are lucky to live next to your home and also I bet they get to eat some of your baked good too:)

  26. Oh I am so glad you told me about the cloche, I just had to go take a look and leave a comment. See what happens when you don't feel good and then you don't make all the rounds. You miss the best things of all. I LOVE your cloche and the pumpkin inside is wonderful too. It is huge and what a thrill it will be to decorate inside. What a great colour combo for Halloween and those black/white checked plates work great. As always, your hydrangeas make a wonderful centerpiece when painted black and surrounding the white pumpkin.   41. Your grandchildren must love coming to your house! I love all the decorations and I swear I saw Matt Lauer hiding behind one of the pines :) I think your door will look stunning painted red. Of course I'm a slightly biased - LOL.

    The best part of your post is your table setting! I love everything about it. Black and white is another favorite after red! Leave it to you to paint hydrangeas black! Great job!

  48. Kathleen, Hi! Concerning those brown bowls (only had 2)---I did purchase those at my corelle outlet and those were the only two. But the ones they sell in the stores are half the size...they look similar.

  65. Ok, ok... I'm slow getting to everyone today- I was gone on an outing with a friend to meet HER new blogging pal from TX! Had a blast.
    So... Your black & white tablescape is just so classy! love the checked plates! I would love to do something like this for the holidays- I bought new silver and white dishes during a huge clearance sale at Target last Xmas. Now I need a black tablecloth- but it is so hard to find some colors in a 120 inch length.
    The hydrangeas are gorgeous.... did you use floral paint spray or regular paint?
