Thursday rolled around quickly this week.
I have painting going on, so tablesetting got put on hold…
I am joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch..please stop by and see the other entries…Thank you, Susan…
I did this little number last Fall, but I wasn’t a blogger then…obviously, I only have 2 pictures of it…Now I just snap away..
The candelabra is from Villeroy and Boch, gold and white, but made for Cmas. I hung some extra bling on it , just for this fun Halloween season table..
Black cloth, gold chargers and napkins, wine glasses trimmed in gold, as is the flatware.
Faux pumpkins sprayed gold, a gold runner swirled across the middle and gold candles.
The gold napkins are tied with black wired ribbon..
And that’s a little table for today…
I think the next 3 will be Halloween, some fun and one a bit more grown up!
Thanks for stopping by..
See you tomorrow for Foodie Friday..
Always love your tables, Kathleen!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathleen!
ReplyDeleteThis table is so perfect!! I love the black/gold combo and all of your creative touches (the wired ribbon tied around your napkins, the tweaking of you candleabra). Your china is just lovely!!
I'm so happy to see this, even if it were only two pics!!

Always elegant, black and gold. I have the same gold chargers. My tables definitely need more bling.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason your link on Susan's blog is linking back to Susan at this time. Hopefully Mr. Linky will get his act together:) Your table is lovely. Gosh I feel guilty because lately we have been eating next to the TV in the living room. I have to say that I am serving on china instead of paper:) The wedding and bride was beautiful at Eishenhower park but the wedding cake was the ugliest:) Looked like a volcano:)
ReplyDeleteI came over to tell you the same thing Joyce told you about your link at Susan's.
ReplyDeleteLove this black and gold table. It's so rich and pretty. Love the black bow napkin ties...
I love this table! It's gorgeous.
ReplyDeletePlus, it's done in Mizzou's colors and the colors of my old high school. I should send your link to my friends. In fact, I think I will.
Great post, Kathleen!

Really fun black and gold themed table. I'll look forward to seeing your Halloween tables.
ReplyDeleteKathleen, I remember this tablescape from Holidays last year. I loved it then and it was great to see it again! The gold and black colour combo is so dramatic! I love how you made the pumpkins gold, very unique!

ReplyDeleteKathleen, another great table!
ReplyDeleteHey how come I missed this table last week? it's GREAT -- love it. My old high school colors were black and gold, and when we lived in Pittsburgh, the teams all use black and gold there -- it was all over the city when the Steelers or Pirates were in playoffs.
ReplyDeleteGood times.... and a great table. REALLY love the etched glasses. And you are way ahead of me, I don 't have ANY pics of tables I did pre-blogging!
