I used a round red placemat, with a red check Christmas tree shaped placemat on top, (Pottery Barn) and red check napkin..
Red plates, peppermint swirl salad and Santa's hat soup bowl...all from Pottery Barn outlet..
Swirl name card holders, ornament salt and peppers...
Pine cone tree as the centerpiece, Christmas stems, and a candy cane at each setting..
Red and green ornament shaped candles
A table for all age groups!
And a basket of homemade cookies for the guests to take home...
5 months from today is...CHRISTMAS!! And I bet some of you have started your shopping !

Christmas in July helps me think cool! Love those peppermint plates. You have the best holiday tables.
ReplyDeleteChristmas in July makes me nervous. I try and have my shopping done by the end of Oct. so that I do not have to deal with the crowds. Since the economy is so bad I am not sure that crowds will be a problem this year at the shops. Sad but true. Love the photos of the LI beach with the GD. Amazing what kids can do with a cast in the water. I love your wives with knives apron. I had to laugh the first time I heard the name of that blog:)

The red and white is one of my favorites. Did you get some of the pieces from CVS? I remember your story of having Mike stop by CVS stores to get dishes on sale.

Christmas is my favorite time of years, but its hard to think about when its 100 degrees outside.
