  3. My favorite poetress! I loved it all but the tablesetting out in the warm garden is making me wish it was summer. Don't get me wrong, I'll eat all that food but how much more I would enjoy it fresco :-)

  4. The food, the poetry, and the photos were DIVINE! Your garden is a little bit of heaven on earth. I'm so glad you came to the potluck--but do not expect to take home leftovers!! :-) You'll find me in the corner, licking the bowls.

  5. Kathleen, what a lovely Flashback Friday post! You're so entertaining and quite the hostess.

I could eat LOTS of all of it.

The ending of you poem/post with the photo of a sunset is gorgeous (and cleaver poem, too).

  16. Loved the poem, and your food is sublime. Ate my way through your blog with glee! We're happy that we left LI,(Stony Brook), but your photos of the water make me a tad wistful...not homesick, just wistful. I don't miss the LIE or the traffic whenever we tried to leave the island. Don't miss the frizzy hair because of the high humidity, but I do miss LI Sound and the ocean! I'll be stopping back frequently for a whiff of salt air...Nancy
