Tablescape Tuesday...Valentine's preview...

These Tuesdays sure roll around quickly..
As there are only 2 more Tuesdays after this one to do Valentine's tables, I thought I would start with these 2....

The first I used Lenox eternal china,
gold flatware,
etched glasses trimmed with gold from Pfaltzgraf, the others are antique from a friend, they were her mom's..

Cream and wine toile napkins from WSonoma outlet, as well as the indiv butter dishes.

The urn with sugared fruits in the center is from Christmas Tree Shops,
and the tassels on the napkins are from WSonoma, meant to be used on wine bottles.

The cherubs holding place names..Romeo and Juliet..:) are from Michael's

The gold chargers from Cmas Tree Shops...

The second table is what we actually used for dinner...red, then black round mat, red plates from Wm Sonoma, heart ramekin, and red glass Pfaltzgraf,
Napkins are bandanas from AC Moore
Lantern in center is Pottery Barn, as is the striped runners, and X O glass scatters...

Dinner was salad, boneless pork chop, baked potato, and apple and whipped sweet potato...

    Kathleen, I love that you're participating in Tablescape Tuesdays... We all get a chance to see your VAST selection of dishes, napkins, tablecloths, napkin rings, accessories, etc, etc.

    The first is so elegant, but I LOVE the casual setting.

    Hi Kathleen,
    I love both tables. I like how you used the tassles for napkin rings and I love those napkins. OK I already had dinner and my mouth is watering when I look at your header!!!

    I love BOTH settings...one rich, elegant and romantic, and the next sweet and whimsical. :-) And of course, Romeo and Juliet are such perfect names for the cherubs. I loved seeing your tablescapes, and I'm going to take another look now, so I can absorb all of the pretty details. :-)

    Great look on both tables. One so elegant with rich colors and touches of gold. I just love the toile napkins..The other, looking so festive and 'flirty' with those darling napkins.

    Oh my gosh! I should have came here first, over at wfd I knew those cherubs were destined for greatness and here they are posted already! I love the simple elegance with the toile napkins and golden accents of the first setting but I also like the simple whimsy of all the heart accents of the second setting. Those heart ramekins are too cute! I've started looking forward to Tuesdays to be able to come and visit your wonderful tablesettings.

    I kept a grandson yesterday so I am just now getting around to some of the TT tables....sorry!

    Love teh red toile napkins & the cherub "napkin rings" in the first picture!


    I thought you might be interested to knowing that I found a pic in my Valentine's inspiration album that I recognized as your's from when I lurked @ GW holiday forum. It's cocktail shrimp set into a heart. I always wanted to tell you how cute I thought that was & now I can. ;o)

    Kathleen...great tablescapes...we got TWO today! :-) I'm crazy about the toile napkins and the cherub place card holders. Dinner looked yummy, especially in the heart shaped ramekins. :-) Susan
