So I bought it! I put it on, got on the scale,
and NOPE,
not one bit slimmer!!
Everyone of those jelly beans and chocolate eggs were still pushing against my clothes! False advertising for sure! :)
Just a reminder about the Let's Dish Challenge this Wednesday at 7 PM! The theme is the GOOD EARTH! Can't wait to see what you come up with! I have no idea what I am doing, a few things floating around in my head
Last week I made a stop in WSonoma and Pottery Barn Outlet. They had some bargain bins outside, so I had to look!
Red and white dot liners for baskets, not this size basket
, but I will find some to fit. 4 for TWENTY FIVE CENTS! The fabric is worth that!
They also had these cute fabric houses.
Same price! You are supposed to make a hanging lamp out of it. Not doing that!
Any ideas? For less than 7 cents, I have to think of something. I was thinking some kind of deco for an up coming baby shower.
That's it from me! Hope you are having a good weekend!
See you Wednesday for Let's Dish!
Joining The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sunday!
The polka dots! Be still my heart! And you paid what??!! And the same for the houses? I need to figure out how to get to shop with you. Of course the cost of the plane ticket raises the total cost of any deals just a tad ;)
ReplyDelete3 shopping bags full for a buck 30! I paid with cash, embarrassed to use a credit card for that amount! :)
DeleteHaha.... I guess jelly bean and chocolate eggs should be hidden from those who are watching their waistline. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou mean food from the Easter Bunny is fattening? :)
DeleteStill eating the chocolate eggs and jelly beans here. I think I need to just toss it all in the trash! LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the polka dot liners. You'll find something perfect for these. ~ sarah
You find such great bargains! Wonderful, as always, to have you be a part of Seasonal Sundays.
ReplyDelete- The Tablescaper
Lucky you to have those OUTLETS on "YOUR" side of the sound! I SURE WISH they'd open a Pottery Barn outlet up here!!! I always have a HUGE WISH LIST from their catalog and that's as far as I get...An OUTLET would be much better!
ReplyDeleteBig Hugs Other Sister,
Donna
Even at the outlet it is so pricey you have to wait till they reduce the stuff by 70 %. You must be patient!
DeleteMy gosh- What finds! I love those basket liners...AND those houses are adorable! What size are they? Cam you use them to "hide" something? I'm sure you will find something wonderful to do with them. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThey are 16 in tall and 12 wide. Pretty big!
DeleteI think I need to come out to the outlets. What treasures. Have a great week!
ReplyDelete7 cents? My goodness...I want to go shopping with you!!
ReplyDeleteLove the cute basket liners K! Sounds like a fun shopping trip:@)
ReplyDeleteNice haul, three bags :) You'd hate shopping with me, LOL!
ReplyDeletePretty liners!
What fun buys! The basket liners are so pretty. Could you stuff the houses and make pillows out of them? I can't tell how big they are from the photo.
ReplyDelete16 by 12. Very thin fabric, wire frame inside.
DeleteI can't imagine the good earth but immediately I thought of potatoes and beets. Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.
ReplyDeleteLove that basket liner and oh so many ideas for those cute houses! You do find the most amazing stuff at unbelievable prices! :)
ReplyDeleteI have NO idea about Good Earth and have nothing whatsoever connected with it..
ReplyDeleteI love that basket liner. :)
You are the Queen of bargain shopping! No WS outlet here, and our nearest PB outlet is an 1 1/2 hours away. The last time I went there were NO bargains there~ only stuff that looked like it had been through a tornado :) Putting my thinking cap on for The Good Earth :)
ReplyDeleteNot sure on the size of the fabric house - but can you somehow make a laundry basket out of it? Or if it is smaller and you line-dry things, perhaps a place to store your clothespins?
ReplyDeleteOr can you tear it apart and tack it to wood somehow and make a nice wall art piece for your laundry room with it?
Nice purchases- such promise.
16 high, 12 in sq.
ReplyDeleteNot sturdy enough for clothespins. I think it would have to be purely decorative.
Thanks for the suggestions!
What deals. We don't even have a Pottery Barn, let alone an outlet. I am sooooo jealous. See you Wed. xo Ginger
ReplyDeleteI too envy your proximity to all those great outlets. That little house would be really cute for a baby shower, and the basket liners are really cute.
ReplyDeleteYou find the best bargains! I've never seen a PB or WS outlet. I'm still trying to come up with an idea for your party. I haven't had any inspirational dreams lately.
ReplyDeleteHow dare they lie like that! At least it looks good!
ReplyDeleteI just popped by to say a very big thank you for adding my party button to your sidebar and to grab a button for my sidebar but I can't find one. Would you like me to make one for you? I would be happy to make one (it will only be simple!) so please let me know.
Take care and best wishes for a great week!
Natasha in Oz.
25 cents??...they practically gave it to you!!...Great items!!! See you on Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteBut did you LOOK slimmer? It's kind of like those Miracle Swimsuits. Sometimes a bigger miracle is needed ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the red polka dot basket liner fabric. It definitely makes the basket look slimmer - LOL. Great bargains - as usual. Wish I could think of something cute for those houses. If they had bottoms, you could fill them with diapers. They'd be cute for a house warming or wedding shower too.
wow! great buys! I really need to go shopping with you one day!!
ReplyDeleteYou know where to get the good deals; love that basket; thank you for the reminder for Earth Day.
ReplyDeleteRita
Oh my gosh! Those are deals that cannot be passed up, even if you can't immediately think of a use for them! Love the basket liners, and those little houses are adorable. I could see you using them in a tablescape - perhaps covering some delicious food you are serving, or pitchers of drinks being served outside (to keep the bugs out). I know you'll do something clever with them. If you DO find anything I can stick on myself to instantly slim away the chocolate, please let me know! laurie
