Time to bring out the shamrocks! To me, St.Patrick’s Day tells me it won’t be long till Spring..the showin’ of the green… Right now..we are showing white!
My friend Foley at Foley’s Follies made a beautiful birthday card for me using the picture of the wreath . I loved it..

Love this table setting!
ReplyDeleteKathleen, there is a shamrock on your egg! Love that pretty wreath and the way the sun shines through it. When was your birthday? Did I miss it! I'll start trying to come up with something for the party! Can't wait! As always, I enjoyed your comment on my most recent post. I gave up on figuring out the "follower" thingy! It doesn't seem to mean anything! It kind of reminds of "friends" on facebook. Where did all of these people come from anyway? laurie
ReplyDeleteToo sweet. The little sheep is adorable. I have to come up with something Irish for a potluck. I have no clue what to make. Soda bread looks good.
ReplyDeleteNothing but white outside of my window too, Kathleen! But your shamrock gives me hope of things to come. I'm looking forward to your St. Paddy's party :)
ReplyDeleteKathleen ... I love seeing the green. Hope we see it outside sooner than later.
ReplyDeleteBreakfast looks tasty ... how fun to have a shamrock on the egg. What's on the lid of the teapot?
That green stain glass piece is lovely. I am believe you are ready for Mr. St. Patrick.

ReplyDeleteKathleen, your Irish breakie looks delish and I love that teapot, cup and napkin! Alright, you've made me want to see if I can scrounge up a wee bit o' the green for the 16th and join the fun!

Hi Kathleen!
ReplyDeleteWhat time shall I come over for breakfast?
I will definitely be in on your St. Pat's event ..it won't be a tabletop. but I'll find something historical to show! :-)
We didn't get snow here in Brooklyn today ..only rain! Whew! The storm isn't over but I'm hoping that it will stay rain.
Hi Kathleen,
ReplyDeleteI can't pass up a party, especially when we are celebrating the green. What kind of Kelley would I be afterall if I didn't embrace the Irish theme. I love your Irish breakfast setting and your cute header table.
Now, I'm off to follow the leprachauns and look for my pot of gold to help me participate in your annual St Patrick Day Blog Crawl. Can't wait!!!
Love the St. Pat's tablescape, mine is just finished and will post next week. Hope you find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
Barbara
I will participate in this, I just have to remember, I am following you now so that is a good reminder. Also, I will be hosting a Fun foto friday the first Friday of every month, first one being next week. Hope you can participate:)
ReplyDeleteI know I have something green tucked away in my cupboards. Looking forward to your St. Patrick's Day celebration, Kathleen. Sorry to see that the snow is hanging on.
ReplyDeleteWow! Look at you all ready for St. Patrick's Day! I don't believe I have anything green anymore. I will just have to remedy that real soon if I am to participate in your Second Annual St. Patrick’s Day Blog Crawl!
ReplyDelete~ Tracy
My husband would love your breakfast! He says no one made Irish soda bread like his grandmother. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Stephanie

ReplyDeleteThe shamrock on the egg takes the cake! Love this tablescape...you certainly do make every day a holiday! How special!
Kathleen...
ReplyDeleteKeep my food warm.
I'll be right over...
What a cheery place setting and scrumptious breakfast, on such a dismal day.
Now you've inspired me to find something to put together for a St Pat's table.
I'm keeping the faith in what you said...'StPat's Day..tells me it
won't be long till Spring'.
From 'Your Lips - To God's Ears'!
Congrats! I just read you won the Irish mugs over at Designsbygollum. Just in time for the St. Patricks day crawl which sounds like so much fun. I hear another snow storm is headed your way. Hope it just skims the island because enough is enough already:)
ReplyDeleteJoyce
Top 'o the morning to ye!! So very pretty! Love the green glasses, and I like those little cloches beside the plates. The tiny shamrock on the egg is really cute!
ReplyDeleteKatherine
Hi Kathleen - I'm back to congratulate you for winning the Irish coffee mugs at Designs by Gollum. Isn't that just perfect timing?
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your new green look and header photo to the blog - getting us all ready for St. Patrick's day and spring! That stained glass piece is a favorite of mine and I love it when you bring it out each year...that and of course Spud!
ReplyDeleteThe Irish breakfast looks good!
You have some pretty things! I'm working on St. Pat's tablescape today and realizing that I don't have things for this holiday!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a gorgeous shamrock wreath. I love the tablescape too. You have a sense of what makes a place setting fun. Come on spring!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Jeanne
I miss all the Meme's! Yours is so cute. Those napkins and napkin rings are darling!
ReplyDeleteI'm Irish and but for some reason have stopped decorating much for St. Patrick's Day. I used to do a lot before Patrick died, but I love visiting and looking at what other people do. :)
Hey, Congratulations to both of us! Your little breakfast setting is just the perfect way to start off the Irish holidays. I wish I had 1/2 as much shamrock items as you have. I've been putting out green stuff for days around here. Now if we can just get some SUNLIGHT, I can take some photos for the party!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the really cute inspirations you've already kick-started us with.
fondly,
Rett
Love all your St. patty's Day touches!!
ReplyDeleteThis is great, K.
ReplyDeleteSomehow, I missed Marty doing Tabletop Tuesday...hmmm, I am so falling behind.
