Your blues are just beautiful and I love the new blog look to match. I don't remember that first tablesetting with the rectangular plate - it is gorgeous.

Everything is wonderfully blue and "yummy". OH gosh, now I want pancakes, just like those! lol!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and I hope you have a great day!
Oh Kathleen I love all your pretty blue. Those seersucker napkins are calling to me. I love the setting in your header. Well let's just confess right now that food is my love language so a table set for food is a delight to my eyes. A table set without food is pretty delightful to me too :0) And then God's creation has been shouting to me these days too! Have a great week...
ReplyDeletePretty post, Kathleen ... love your blues ...
ReplyDeleteThe beach pic is fabulous and the blue IS the bluest.
Everything is beautiful, but it wouldn't be a blue "Kathleen" post without your hydrangeas. Glad you included a little peak of one.
Beautiful blue post, Kathleen! I know I've seen them before but those watering can napkin rings are adorable. I love the sailboat photo - just gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteHey great blues! I think your iris are probably closer to blooming than mine -- you've got a warmer microclimate on the East End!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love Shelia's jugs, too ... who doesn't? :-P

Oops -- forgot to answer your question about how painted cabinets stand up to use. I used this same black paint on my kitchen cabinets in my former house -- just the base cabinets -- and it lasted very well.
ReplyDeleteGood prep is key -- sanding and priming. Oil primer is best but I don't usually use it. The bathroom vanity is still curing -- I only finished painting it yesterday afternoon, and took the pictures this morning!
It's always scary to paint over natural wood -- at least it is to me -- but sometimes it's worth it.

Love the blues! That sky is to die for. And your little blue birds are precious!!!
