I know everyone is busy with their preparations for tomorrow. I bet the kitchen smells heavenly!
The winner of the Cookie Party Kit from William Sonoma is Carolina Jewel. Please send me your address so I can get it out in the mail. Congratulations, Jewel! I hope you share pictures of your cookie exchange with us!
I don't have a new table to show tonight, so I'll share a few from the past.
This from 2008...
And a less formal table. I love the cloth ,my friend gave it to me. It is a piece of fabric, and it looks like acorns. :)
I used my Cornucopia pan from WSonoma Outlet to make one of the desserts for tomorrow.
Laurie, at Bargain Hunting with Laurie won one too, I wonder if she tried it out? I see she posted, I have to pop over for a visit!
It's a pumpkin cake, I tried a new recipe. I will let you know how it is in the next post!
I'll put the glaze on before serving. Trying a new glaze too, I am adventurous serving it to other people without trying it, LOL. How bad could it be?
After dinner tomorrow the children get their traditional little gift. The countdown to Christmas begins!
I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving! I hope you will count your blessings, I count all of you among mine. :)

Creating Wonderful Spaces
Hi Kathleen,
ReplyDeleteI love your tables from previous years. This cornicopia cake is sooo pretty! I would just hate to cut that, but I bet it's tasty. We ate at my MIL's, and I took a broccoli casserole and deviled eggs. We'll be eating at my parents' tomorrow evening. Hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving day.
Denise at Forest Manor
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Kathleen! I enjoyed seeing these past 'scapes and especially the one with the floral rings around the tureens - an idea I've still to try! That cornucopia cake looks fantastic! Do you get to put your feet up and relax on Black Friday or will you be out getting those terrific bargains?
ReplyDeleteDD

We all know YOUR kitchen smelled like heaven for sure!!!!!!!! I know you churn out some incredible food this time of year!!! I really love that Thanksgiving table from 2008. Fantastic!!!! Take care, my sweet, and enjoy the remainder of the Thanksgiving holiday!
ReplyDeleteI so love Williams-Sonoma! This was a wonderful centerpiece! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm finally finding a little time to catch up! Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful, Kathleen. I know with all the food you made, it was delicious! Now, on to Christmas!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your winner!
Love how your cornucopia cake turned out. I like the table with the acorn tablecloth best..just beautiful fall colors.
ReplyDeleteI hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Kathleen!
ReplyDeleteBecause my daughter's birthday fell on Thanksgiving Day this year, and also a great niece's birthday, we had ice cream cake for dessert (along with pumpkin pie!) on Thanksgiving so I didn't get a chance to use my Cornucopia cake pan..I loved the maple cake recipe that came with the pan, however, as I tried it last year. Let me know how your pumpkin cake turned out.
Your tables are all beautiful, but I especially love the first one with the white tureens at each setting.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Nancy
Just lovely! I hope you had a great one!
