Time to Give Thanks

I know everyone is busy with their preparations for tomorrow.  I bet the kitchen smells heavenly!
The winner of the Cookie Party Kit from William Sonoma is Carolina Jewel.  Please send me your address so I can get it out in the mail.  Congratulations, Jewel!  I hope you share pictures of your cookie exchange with us!

I don't have a new table to show tonight, so I'll share a few from the past.
This from 2008...

And a less formal table.  I love the cloth ,my friend gave it to me.  It is a piece of fabric, and it looks like acorns.  :)

I used my Cornucopia pan from WSonoma Outlet to make one of the desserts for tomorrow.
Laurie, at Bargain Hunting with Laurie won one too, I wonder if she tried it out?  I see she posted, I have to pop over for a visit!

I'll put the glaze on before serving.  Trying a new glaze too, I am adventurous serving it to other people without trying it, LOL.  How bad could it be?

After dinner tomorrow the children get their traditional little gift.  The countdown to Christmas  begins!

  26. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Kathleen. The Cornucopia cake has great detail! I wish the CTS would start carrying our beautiful white pumpkins again. I am using mine as candle holders this year...found the perfect candles that fit them nicely. And no dripping!

  30. Hi Kathleen,

I love your tables from previous years. This cornicopia cake is sooo pretty! I would just hate to cut that, but I bet it's tasty. We ate at my MIL's, and I took a broccoli casserole and deviled eggs. We'll be eating at my parents' tomorrow evening. Hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving day.

  38. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Kathleen!

Because my daughter's birthday fell on Thanksgiving Day this year, and also a great niece's birthday, we had ice cream cake for dessert (along with pumpkin pie!) on Thanksgiving so I didn't get a chance to use my Cornucopia cake pan..I loved the maple cake recipe that came with the pan, however, as I tried it last year. Let me know how your pumpkin cake turned out.
