Did you watch the QVC weekend Christmas in July special?
More importantly, did you buy anything?
Most bloggers love Christmas, so maybe I heard your voice on TV as you told the hostess how you have been waiting for this event?
I watched, and I was tempted by a few things. Some of them sold out while I pondered, so that was a good thing, I guess!
Did you buy this? Drunk Santa? Complete with a bottle of booze!
Nothing says Christmas like an inebriated Santa! : (
Apparently, you can still cash in on the bargains till midnight! So to get you in the mood for Christmas shopping, a Christmas in July tablescape. :) It is from Christmas past times 2!
I am joining Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday. And Merry Christmas! :)
I didn’t buy anything, it is just too soon to think about Christmas!
Gorgeous tablespace for Christmas or when ever! sandie
ReplyDeleteI saw about 5 mins only. They showed a darling set of a mom and dad, daughter and son carolers. I would have loved to have the mom and dad but I quickly turned the channel before I could be talked into picking up that phone.
ReplyDeleteI want to know, what YOU bought! :)
Hugs,
Joanne

I watched the part about the flameless candles. About the time I decided to order one, it sold out. lol
ReplyDeleteOh my, this is sooooooo pretty. Gosh, I can't believe that Christmas will be here soon. Your table is beautiful. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table, Kathleen, but no way am I thinking Christmas when it's in the high 90's! Maybe Santa isn't drunk, maybe he passed out from the heat and humidity?
ReplyDeleteI think I must be the only person in the world that doesn't watch all those shopping channels :)
ReplyDeleteI do love your tablescape though, so elegant!
No, I didn't watch QVC, we had company (my daughter, etc.) Sorry I missed it, but I loved visiting with my family!
ReplyDeleteLove that Christmas in July tablescape! I had something planned for CIJ, I hope I can get it done by Saturday night!!
Katherine
I don't order from QVC...but sometimes I watch! I missed Christmas in July, but I'm okay with that. I was upset enough to see Halloween things in Cracker Barrel over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh it is probably a VERY good thing that we were away and I didn't know about this! What a beautiful table! Great idea!
ReplyDeletexoxo Pattie
I haven't bought anything from QVC in about 20 years...not even sure if we get that channel. Gorgeous table, but Christmas would either melt or burn to a crisp here in the heartland! This heat is insufferable...it is making me extra cranky.
ReplyDeleteKathleen, I cannot believe you are already doing a Christmas tablescape. That must have been an inspiring QVC segment. I wouldn't know, because I didn't watch it. I know how tempted I could be into ordering something, and we know I already order way too much and have way too much! Love your sparkly table whith the Battenburg cloth and napkins. And I see you already have my Christmas gift! laurie
ReplyDeleteKathleen, this is an exquisite table setting. Wow, Christmas in July. You are really on top of the tablescaping! LOL
ReplyDeleteThis table will help cool the summer heat. Love all the sparkles. ~ Sarah
Hi Kathleen,
ReplyDeleteWhat a divine tablescape, so beautiful. Just love it!!
Blessings, Nellie
So what did you buy Mrs. Claus? :-) I steer clear of QVC because it all ends up looking like something I need. Love your sparkly table!
ReplyDeleteNope, no QVC for me. Did they really have drunk Santa for sale? What will they come up with next?
ReplyDeleteYour table sparkles! :-)
Oh, you get my heart pumping putting out pics like this so early. This is beautiful. Didn't see the QVC and it is probably a good thing since I am off buying plates and such instead for tablescapes!!! I don't know if you saw that I am doing a giveaway of a Cuisinart Ice Cream maker. Stop by and enter.
ReplyDeleteGosh I missed it....but I am sure working on Christmas and the heat index was 110 here today...SICK
ReplyDeleteWell, I sure wanted to buy something, but just didn't see anything that tempted me! It is always fun when they have CIJ though! Great table so sparkley:@)
ReplyDeleteNo kidding it's too early to think about Christmas!! But this year I vowed not to leave everything to the last minute. So we'll see.
ReplyDeleteLove your table, Kathleen. I have that same pretty Lismore.
Beautiful tablescape, Kathleen!
ReplyDeleteI didn't see the Christmas in July...
maybe that's a good thing.;-)
I can't do Christmas in July! I have a mental block against it. No matter how great the bargain - I just can't. I went to the WS outlet for the first time this weekend and thought of you!
ReplyDeleteNo one told me about this. I'm in Canada, I wonder if I could get stuff here.
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing tablescape. Christmas, New Years Eve, an anniversary, a wedding. Perfect for any special occasion. So elegant and sophisticated.
I've never watched QVC because it would just be too easy to pick up the phone and spend!! I am usually only a week ahead of whatever holiday is coming up, so I don't think I can buy Christmas dishes anyway. Did you see that Lenox is also having the 12 days of christmas sale on their site? Excellent deals but I dan't do it! Your table is very cool and refreshing and reminds me that I may be wishing for this hot weather in a few months. Linda
ReplyDeleteGosh darn Kathleen,
ReplyDeleteI sure wanted that drunk santa! Maybe he'll be on back order soon.
I think your tablescape is so pretty! It's elegant and shimmery!
HAGD,
Cindy
Love the shimmery look of the white and silver. It makes me think "cool weather"!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever watched QVC. Is there something wrong with me? I'd much rather have one of your Christmas Tree Shops nearby!
ReplyDeleteYour beautiful table does remind me of ice and snow - a cooling thought on a hot day.
I love seeing all your pretty tablescapes, kathleen!
ReplyDeleteNo QVC for me --I never bought anything from them. I have a small house and after living here 34 years I can not put another thing into it...lol! I'm trying to get rid of "stuff" as it is in case I downsize even more.
LOL!! Oh Kathleen, I KNEW I liked you!! I LOVE QVC!!.. But I'm afraid I missed it, because my attention was drawn over to HSN instead!! ha! ha!.. I behaved myself however, as I have already invested in a new skin cream, ever hoping for miracles, so I have to be careful about any further spending till next month! As I'm just starting the book "Eat Love Pray", however, I'm curious as to what this new HSN event will bring.. I have a feeling I'd better save my money, in case I see anything I might want from Italy, India, or Bali!!! (0; Have a great evening! ~tina
ReplyDeleteClearly I've got too much company. Not only didn't I see this post, I missed Christmas in July!
ReplyDelete- The Tablescaper
I love your Christmas in July post! I am a big fan of Christmas in July as it means we can celebrate a yummy Christmas meal in the cool of winter. Christmas is so hot and humid over here we tend to eat salads and seafood rather than roasts and hot puddings in December.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a wonderful weekend,
Natasha.
Hello! I just saw from your weather widget that you live in Southampton -- Do you ever see Ina Garten? (I don't know which "Hamptons" she is in though!) And I LOVE QVC! And I DID watch Christmas in July. The only thing I purchased was the Valerie Parr Hill little metal mittens (two red/two blue) that are on stakes that you put outside. It will match nicely with a metal lantern on a stake that I bought from QVC/Valerie last year. I also LOVE the Christmas Tree Shop! Oh, Lord, I can't go in there without spending 100 bucks! I don't go that often, so I go crazy when I go in there. Well, this comment is long enough! Take care.
ReplyDeleteBest regards,
Gloria
