I KNOW! You are all working up a sweat dragging out the fall decor. BUT…It’s a sunny 80 degrees today, perfect for a little lunch outside.
These little beach chairs were the starting point. I got them at Savers.Three of them surrounding a bright red pillar candle form the centerpiece.
Red and white tablecloth made from fabric I got years ago. I bought the whole bolt for 20 cents a yard.
I use it to wrap my outdoor cushions at Christmas, as well as for tablecloths.
New square chargers from Pfaltzgraff sale online last week. 2.99
Plus I linked through Mr Rebates.com so I got 6% off my order, and free shipping. Plus the % back on my credit card.
You don’t do mrrebates.com yet for your on line shopping? It’s free, and so easy! And no, I am not getting anything from them to say it!

Kathleen, I'm with you. It's still summer here, and I've yet to pull out anything fall related. I did get the front porch pots repotted with mums (only thing available right now) because I couldn't stand looking at the sad geraniums another day. LOL
ReplyDeleteHermine came roaring through Central Texas yesterday afternoon, so we received buckets of heavy rainfall all night and well into the morning. It is raining off and on today. We lost internet service so I'm at the library to check email and a few favorite blogs. Said they might not get it fixed till the weekend. :-(
Guess I may not get a post up tonight.
Loved seeing your colorful table. Great buy on the chargers. I recently purchased some at Pier I for much more. Guess I should have shopped around. LOL
Enjoy your summer days that are left. ~ Sarah
Hooray for summer! I love it! This is such a cute tablescape.
ReplyDeleteLovin' the striped fabric, looks like you had a great lunch on the deck! I can't believe your yard still looks that beautiful! Thanks for the Barnyard Bash shout out, see ya tomorrow:@)
ReplyDeleteWonderful and fun table Kathleen!
ReplyDeleteYou come up with the greatest ideas and the best deals!
Plus I love those little beach chairs, and the tablecloth @ .20 a yard is as good as it gets!
I like my summer too and I am in no hurry for fall. However, the weather here seems to be leaning that way.
Cindy
Your table is such fun!!! Brightens a dreary day! Cathy

ReplyDeleteIt is still summer here, too, and I did a 'scape out on our patio this morning for breakfast..so nice. A few sprinkles..off and on but nothing that drove me inside.
We live about 400 miles from Dallas so no storms here.
Again...you did so good on this cute table. You are a natural, my sweet girl.

I love this not only because it's so festive and pretty but also because I relate so well to the "It's still summer here" comment.
ReplyDeleteIt's still in the 90's around my place. That *fun in the sun* table is just right! And don't you love the rich red color in those dishes? They will be pretty with everything!
Too colorful and fun. Makes me want to join the party.
ReplyDeleteLove it! so bright and cheery and in your glorious yard. Those little chairs add just the right touch of whimsy. Great square plate with the pierced border.

ReplyDeleteKathleen, what a fun summery post...we do have a chill in the air here in Utah...what a steal on those chargers and I love the red and white lounge chairs. Joni
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! Love the bright red and white! I'm not ready for drab fall colors yet either, still too hot here in FL! Beautiful flowers in your yard!
ReplyDeleteKatherine
Love red and white. The little deck chairs are adorable! And yes it is still summer!
ReplyDeleteThat is so much fun! You had me at hotdogs! I am not ready fo summer to be over so keep it coming. It looks like your yard is not ready for summer to be over either. It is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThose little chairs are just fabulous. This is one of the prettiest tables. I love everything about it. I can't believe the red and white striped fabric. What a find and how fun to use it on your chairs too. I agree, I have to milk whatever I can out of summer and then hope for Indian Summer days in fall.
ReplyDeleteOh what a fun end of summer tablescape. I packed up summer and brought out all my fall decor on Monday -- so at my house....looks like fall....feels like summer - very confusing. Love your red and white theme. Hang on to these waning days of summer as long as you can!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathleen, I agree, it is still summer, so I did another beach table:) I love the red and white, and how do you ever find those bargains? And what is this rebate for online shopping? I am going to check that out too. I love your table, especially the little chairs (one of my weaknesses) and the ice cream cone glasses and the salt and peppers, and on and on--it makes me very happy! Linda
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun table! Bright, cheery and happy! Perfect!
ReplyDeleteI wish it still felt like summer here! It has been very cool the past few days - and windy!
ReplyDeleteThose little beach chairs are adorable! You find the best stuff, Kathleen!
Say, I like your little lawn chairs, striped tablecloth and those cute salt and pepper shakers! And all the rest--so bright and cheery. Yes summer is still here too.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about summer. It's at least easier to switch tablescapes to fall than to switch wardrobes! What to wear in this heat? Love the red and white table you did this week.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable table! The red and white are so cheerful and your table is so whimiscal. You are a great shopper, too. Love the table.
ReplyDeleteThis just looks like so much fun! That lawn is to die for, too! I love the fabric and the idea of using it at Christmas on your cushions...how clever! I love when folks decorate with details like that! Coming over from TT at BNOP! Christie at threepixielane
ReplyDeleteYour tablescape is so cheerful and fun! It makes me wish we had another month of summer. What a great deal on those rattan chargers, too...love them!
ReplyDeleteJane

The red and white is so festive and those
little chairs are too cute!
I'm hanging on to Summer here too.
I'll take EVERY warm and sunny day that still comes along.
Lucky you to have 80 degrees still, we are settling down now, but I still love your tablescape. Especially the photo under the words "flatware by Cambridge". The color pop in that one is amazing.
ReplyDeleteFor starters, I really like the red and white stripe tablecloth. So many possibilities! Your tablescape is wonderful. Thank you for sharing your whimsical and charming design. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteKathleen, I just love this colorful tablescape. The red and white fabric is gorgeous - I hope you show us what you do with it at Christmas time as well. Those little chairs are so cute - I have a similar one in Jayme's old barbie house - never thought to use it in a tablescape but they sure look fun as a centerpiece in yours.
ReplyDeletegreat tablescape and your yard and flowers look great!
Thanks for the rebate info. Those beach chairs are the cutest. Such great buys. It is in the 90s here and our A/C is broken since Monday so I can relate to summer heat and almost heat stroke in my own house:-) No baking here this week only have time to stick my head into the sub zero to revive myself!
ReplyDeleteIt's me again! I tried last night -- Google would not let me in!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to tell you that I love this table -- I always love me some bright colors.
Oh, Kathleen, I can see why those darling miniature chairs had to come home with you! Irresistible! The red and white looks wonderful with those square chargers, and I love that red handled flatware.
ReplyDeleteadorable, Kathleen. You gotta sneek this in now cause you can't do it after this week. lol
ReplyDeleteThose red & white stripe chairs are beyond adorable. I also love the hamburger/hot dog salt & pepper shakers. Much as I love your tablescapes, I really admire your shopping skill.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Colleen

not Fall yet, but I started decorating for it today, haven't gotten too far yet tho.
Gotta get hubby to get my stuff out of the attic first. Love all that red and white, so pretty!!
Love your ice cream cone glasses, that was such a great idea!! Did you make some kind of ice cream float??? Rootbeer or orange floats sound so good to me!! Good thing I have no ice cream or frozen yogurt in the fridge right now!! lol
Loved your tablescape....as always, you do such a great job!!
Blessings, Nellie
